Infernal Bios: Prince Stolas

Since I’ve used Prince Stolas as the image of this site – I thought I’d start these bios with him. These infernal bios only include correlations / experiences I can personally verify or that I think are relevant for contemporary practice. If you need a more alchemical approach, please also consult the traditional grimoires. As always, these are not conclusive – correlations and experiences can vary!

Animal: Owl

Colours: Dark Blue

Elements: Air

Specialisms: Traditionally, astronomy, herbs, and crystals.

Likes: Nature, cherry tomatoes, berries and candlelight. (despises peaches)

Temperament: Calm, kind and mischievous at times. He is not a chatterbox but will answer questions willingly. Sometimes I would even go so far as to say he’s a ‘tsundere’.

Physical Appearance: Something close to a barn owl in animal form. In human form, he has presented to me as a young male (mid-20s) with dark hair and wearing 17th century clothing. Tends to present in owl form 99% of the time however.

General experience: Prince Stolas has been a very kind and calm spirit in my life. He teaches slowly and gently and can be protective.

He also has a mischievous side to him – he likes to slightly tease and act in a way which will lighten the mood. For example, on first meeting (and this has been others’ experience as well), he presented in his work form plopping around my bed and introducing himself that way. He is also known to peck at you a bit.

He is old, he can tell you about the beginnings of the universe and has been assisting souls for a long while too. It is no wonder he is also a demon of knowledge.

I wouldn’t say he’s emotionless but he can be reserved with his feelings. Nevertheless, he is a genuine and sincere infernal – he will never mislead you. He is very appreciative of offerings when given but I have found him picky about what kind of owl figurines you get for him. In general, he is also very appreciative of any general effort you put in with him or simply having him in your thoughts.

I often feel most connected to him when out in nature and admiring the trees, animals and fauna.

I picture him in a small, dark candle-lit stone castle room where there is a book on a podium in the centre.

By the way – I will probably add to this if more comes to mind but I hope this provides a snapshot of Prince Stolas. As always, any questions – please feel free to message or leave a comment down below!

If you work with Prince Stolas – how have you found him and does any of this resonate?

  1. I worked with Prince Stolas in the past and my experience with him was very similar to what you said. Can you write about Duke Dantalion next? I’ve worked with him as well, but briefly

Hey thank you for commenting and it’s really nice to hear some of what I detailed resonated! And of course, I’d be happy to cover Duke Dantalion.
